I leave in two days for New Delhi then onto Vrindavan the Holy land of 5000 temples. It has been 30 years since I was last there and while I'm sure a lot has changed since then... I'm sure it will hold all the sights, sounds and spiritual upliftment I remember.
Of course this time I will be going as a tourist with my family (my son has never been before) and taking the odd snap shot it will be a pilgrimage none the less.
Janette is going to teach art with two other artists to students from around the world and Brad and I are just tagging along. We do hope to hit some of the highlights like the Taj Mahal, Red Fort and alike. But I think it will be the little known
palaces like Kusuma Sarovara pictured here above that will be most satisfying and bathing in the Yamuna river pictured below that is said to be one hundred times more purifying than a bath in the Ganges... So yes I'm looking
forward to this little short trip and to all the surprises big and small that may present them selves along the way.
I'm not sure what the Internet connection will be like so I'm not sure how this Blog will go, but, we will see.
HARE KRISHNA! y'all
